Almond Cupcakes with Vanilla Coconut Buttercream.

So, maybe my makeshift piping needs work, haha. But these were the most delicious thing I’ve ever baked.

Baked.

Bitten.

Bye-bye.

Pizza time!

Pizza made with Panda!

TJ’s whole wheat dought, mini heirloom tomatoes, fresh mozzarella, chicken sausage, fresh basil. Nom.

Panda enjoyed.

‘Twas a good Friday evening, if I do say so myself! Just came back from the farmer’s market with Jenn, and Panda and I are off to see Mamma Mia @ Wolftrap this afternoon! Updates tomorrow. Don’t forget to enter my scale giveaway! Happy Weekend!
Yum. Just a note about the frosting/piping – looks like maybe your frosting was too soft. Try adding more powdered sugar (or meringue powder, if you have it) or chill it and it should be a bit easier to pipe, and be able to hold its shape. 🙂
Ooh, thanks for the tip! Yeah, I know the aesthetic of the frosting could use some work. Still tastes good though! 😀
those look delicious! Like I always say to the fam “it might not look pretty. But I know its delicious!” haha
Do you have a recipe?
I’m still tweaking it a tiny bit, but you can be sure it’ll be posted once it’s perfected! 😀
Hi Gretchen, it took me a (long) while to get my act together but I am back.
I used to be at hello-gorgeous.me but as my domain is expiring soon and I just found out .me domains are really expensive to renew, I moved. You can find me here now:

Hope to hear from you!
Karen! I’m so happy to see you’re back! Can’t wait to check out your new blog. 😀
Pizza and cupcakes? This post is basically the best. Those pizza toppings are my favorite ever.
The pizza looks delish! I have gotten hooked on TJs Whole Wheat Pizza dough, I have even used it for mini calzones too and works wonderful. Love reading your blog.
Mmm, people keep telling me about making calzones with the pizza dough, and I know I really need to try that out. What’s the bake time on calzones? Mini or otherwise?
Those tomatoes are so cute and the mozzarella looks so ooey gooey. Yum!
Great pics of the cupcakes….could be from Real Simple or Living!
Your pizza is beautiful!
1. Those cupcakes look baller.
2. Totally craving pizza lately – yours looks SO good. I loooove chicken sausages 🙂
It. Was. Amazeballs.
Except I’m not really sure how to make the pizza dough crisp – it always ends up a little bit on the doughy side, even if I pre-bake it. I fear that my only solution is to buy a pizza stone and make then get my money’s worth by making homemade pizza aaaaaall the time. Terrible solution, I know. 😉
Wow….looks pretty amazing to me! Yum. Happy 4th!
